Things to Do - around us
Our apartment is located in the village Ilindentsi, close to Sandanski.
You could relax in our small outdoor swimming pool or take a stroll through our garden. But the best is to enjoy Bulgarian nature and historical places.
We prepared some of them, see bellow
Day 1: Ilindentsi - local mountains, walk through the stream to the small waterfall, then to the silver stream (snack), buy local wine from Naska, late lunch at the restaurant
Day 2: Sandanski - Episcopal Basilica - on the way to see marble production, "Banitsa" breakfast, walk to the tree in the alley with fountains, museum, shopping, lunch, town party, shop with historical paintings
Day 3: Ilindentsi - excursion to the local winery, marble museum, amphitheater
Day 4: Waterfall near Kresna, Simitli Church, lunch at a restaurant by the river
Day 5: Rila Monastery

Day 6: Alexander the Great Museum, Market with Bulgarian specialties, Baba Vanga Museum, Thermal Mud Pools (Rupite)
Day 7: Thermal resort near Petrich
Day 8: A walk in the mountains + fishing
Day 9: Bansko - silver spring, thermal pool, restaurant Wooden Cabin
Day 10: Popina Laka waterfall, Sandanski restaurant with live music in the evening
Day 11-12: Thessaloniki - beach, tower, archaeological museum
